Dr. Jill Sentlingar
Raised in Santa Clarita, California, Dr. Sentlingar moved to Texas to attend Baylor University. While at Baylor, Dr. Sentlingar met her husband, Pat, a McKinney native, and began to adapt to the Texas way of life. Dr. Sentlingar earned her doctoral degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in downtown Dallas. While attending Baylor, she developed a love for family dentistry because of the variety of challenges and rewards it brings. Dr. Sentlingar graduated first in her class, earning both the Gold Medal and Alpha Omega Scholar Awards. Dr. Sentlingar’s professional affiliations include: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, North Texas Dental Association, American Association of Women Dentists, Texas Association of Women Dentists of which she is the Regional Vice President, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Academy of Sports Dentistry. Dr. Sentlingar’s professional recognitions include: Gold Medal for First Scholastic Honors at Baylor College of Dentistry, Alpha Omega Scholastic Award, the Eleanor Bushee Senior Woman Dental Student Award, The Academy of Oral Medicine Award, The Texas Academy of General Dentistry Award, The Organization of Teachers of Oral Diagnosis Award, and selection into the Odontological Honors Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Beta Kappa. In her free time, Dr. Sentlingar enjoys camping, water skiing, crocheting, playing piano and spending time with her husband and two dogs, Emma and Murphy.

Dr. Lara Thurman

Dr. Lara Thurman is a 2004 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, where she and Dr. Jill were classmates and became close friends. Dr. Lara graduated in the top ten percent of her class at Baylor College of Dentistry and was elected as a member of the Odontological and Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor societies. Her professional affiliations include: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Lara was raised in Atlanta, Texas where the majority of her family still resides. She received her bachelor degree from Texas A&M University. Becoming a dentist fulfilled a lifelong dream of following in her father’s footsteps, the late R. Michael Thurman DDS. With her experience of growing up around her father’s dental office, Dr. Lara has a true love for family dentistry and enjoys seeing children of all ages in addition to adults. In her free time, Dr. Lara enjoys reading, scrapbooking, crocheting and knitting, watching old movies, and spending time with her family. She is also an avid fan of the Dallas Mavericks.

Gwen, Administrative Manager
	Gwen opened the practice in 2004 with Dr. Sentlingar. Her 30 years of experience in management is a great asset for our team. Not only does she manage our team, but she will definitely find the time to meet and greet each and everyone person that comes to our office to ensure that your visit with us is an exceptional one. Gwen and her husband enjoy quiet time that they strongly deserve now that her twin boys are off to college. She is excited to welcome you to our practice and to your experience with our great team of dentists and staff!
Kim, Doctor Coordinator
	You will absolutely feel right at home when coming to our office and meeting Kim. Kim is very likely to be one of the first team members you will meet. She has been with the practice since 2005 and has a full knowledge of all dental office functions. Along with her great skills, her distinguished admiration of people makes you feel exclusively important. Kim spends her leisure time with her husband and 2 boys. She enjoys camping, water sports and 4-wheeling. Kim looks forward to meeting you soon!
Erica, Hygiene Coordinator
	Erica is very professional, friendly and calming. She will always greet you with a big smile! She has been with the practice since 2007. She is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Her hobbies include going to the movies, trying new restaurants and meeting new people. When she is not at the office she enjoys being the mother of 2 beautiful girls Raven and Dejah.
Staci, Dental Hygienist
	Staci is outgoing and caring. She strives to provide gentle, patient specific treatment that our patients genuinely appreciate. Staci received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998. She is certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, CPR and sealant application. She initiated the Prosper Family Dentistry hygiene team in February 2005. Along with her husband and three boys, she loves going to church, sporting activities and vacationing.
Christon, Dental Hygienist
	Christon joined the practice in August 2005. She graduated with her dental hygiene degree in 2005 from Tarrant County Community College. She is certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, CPR, and sealant application. Christon is very creative and is our office “Go Getter.” She is always ready to take on new projects. She enjoys snow skiing, camping and seeing the world. Christon has and adorable young son, Dylan. She and her husband dream of one day expanding their family.
Micca, Dental Hygienist
	Micca is a very caring and gentle dental hygienist. If you ever need a good joke or quick humor, Micca is the one for you. She graduated from Collin County Community College with her dental hygiene degree in 2005. Micca is currently certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, CPR and sealant application. She joined our practice in April 2007. Micca enjoys spending time with her two daughters. She also enjoys reading in her spare time.
Denise, Chairside Coordinator
	Denise has been with our office since March 2006. She is a registered dental assistant who is certified in nitrous oxide monitoring and CPR. She is hard working, outgoing and dependable and always makes it a point to keep the staff involved in fun activities. When she is not working she is having fun spending time with her two cuties, Jacob and Taylor.
Shannon, Chairside Coordinator
	Shannon is a registered dental assistant and has been with our office since 2007. She has a great sense of humor and a warm, endearing personality. Shannon’s hobbies include photography, bolleyball and regularly attending church. She has a 9 year old daughter, Madison and a 5 year old son, Gavin.
