Our Commitment to Continuing Education

Dr Jill and Dr. Lara training with Newton Fahl in Chicago

Dentists in Texas are required by law to receive a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education each year. Dr. Jill and Dr. Cara average more than 75 hours of continuing education each year. This focus on continuing education allows them to study and receive direct training on the newest technologies and advances in dental care. Examples of this include our doctor’s knowledge and experience with dental lasers, their new in-house 3D imaging system, advances in dental implants, use of non-invasive Invisalign technology to replace older orthodontic braces, treatment of TMJ disorders, and much more. At Prosper Family Dentistry you know you will be receiving the most advanced dental care available anywhere.

In, 2013, Dr. Jill Sentlingar was invited to be a member of the Piper McKee Study Club which includes less than 100 doctors internationally and provides exceptional dental education. The purpose of the Piper/McKee Study Club is to increase and expand knowledge of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, growth issues of the jaw, and management of head and neck facial pain utilizing advanced diagnostic abilities, increased treatment planning skills and increased managerial expertise. This study club format offers a unique opportunity to learn with a group of like-minded individuals who share common dental treatment philosophy.
