Staci: The Reason We’re All Here in Prosper!

Have you ever wondered what made Dr. Jill choose Prosper as the home for her family and her dental practice? You can thank Staci Rigsby for that.  While still in dental school, Dr. Jill completed an externship in 2003 in a private practice where Staci worked as a dental hygienist.  They had the chance to visit on their lunch break.  When Staci asked what Jill was planning to do when she graduated, Jill told her she’d like to open a family dental practice in a small town.  Staci’s response was, “You should look at Prosper!”  A year and a half later, their paths literally crossed on opposite escalators in the Dallas Convention Center, and Dr. Jill offered Staci a job in her new family practice in Prosper.

Staci is a native of Mesquite, Texas, and is married to her high school sweetheart, Kyle.  They have three boys, Tyler, Bryson, and Kaden, all of whom are very involved in sports.  When Staci’s not busy attending her boys’ sporting events, she enjoys spending time on the lake with family and friends, exercising at her local CrossFit, and working on her Rodan and Fields business.  She and her family also enjoy being involved in Grace Bible Fellowship in Gunter.

Staci’s perseverance through trials is her biggest strength, and she gives all the credit to God. The 2015-16 school year has been a difficult one for the Rigsby family, with accidents, illnesses, surgeries, and many anxieties.  Through it all, Staci worked diligently in her position here at PFD with a smile for everyone.  She also has used her trials to encourage and help others who are going through similar struggles.  She is an amazing example of grace and joy in the midst of hardship.

Staci graduated from the Baylor College of Dentistry Caruth School of Hygiene with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in 1998. With almost 2 decades of experience as a dental hygienist, she is a huge asset to the Prosper Family Dentistry team.  She is both conscientious and compassionate in her work with our patients, and we are blessed to have her.
